Program Details & Application
The Amalfi Festival’s Piano Program offers 2 sessions, each of which includes:
- Four 1-hour private lessons, with multiple faculty
- An opportunity to participate in a master class
- An opportunity to perform in the Young Artist Series
- Admission to all festival concerts & master classes
- Daily access to practice rooms on a variety of pianos
- Choice in accommodation of festival hotels or hostel
- Access to all festival excursions and special events
During the application process, you may request lessons with the faculty listed below. While there is no guarantee of faculty assignments, we will attempt to accommodate your requests.

The meal plan provides daily dinners. We recommend this option as participants and faculty dine together, including when festival concerts are held in locations outside Maiori.

Applications are accepted until spaces are filled. Your participation in the program may not be considered confirmed until deposits are accepted by Center for Musical Studies and you have received a formal confirmation notification.

Balance of payment is due upon receipt of invoice, approximately 60 days before departure. Pay electronically via PayPal* or by mail using instructions above.
* Please note: A 4% service fee will be added to your total balance to cover the processing charges for online payment (Fee is 4.8% for foreign transactions, i.e. outside of the U.S.)
Recording Guidelines
- Application should include video recordings of two works, preferably solo, which demonstrate a contrast of style and character. Individual movements of sonatas and suites are allowed.
- Recordings must have been within the last 12 months.
- Each work should be provided as separate tracks.
Cancellation Policy & Refunds
All cancellations must be made in writing by email. Phone calls or phone messages are not accepted.
If the festival is cancelled for any reason by the Amalfi Coast Music & Arts Festival, a full refund will be given, less the registration fee.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for your protection in case of cancellation or trip interruption. No refunds are available for partial use of program.
The price of the program was established December 30, 2023, and may be subject to change due to significant currency fluctuation or inflation, taxes, surcharges imposed, and fare increases due to international political situations or natural disasters. Registrants will be notified by May 15, 2024 if the price increases and may withdraw without penalty if there is more than a 5% increase.
