Tour fascinating locales, sit in on rehearsal and enjoy concerts under the stars. Expand your culinary vistas, experiment with clay or capture fabulous landscapes in paint. Visit the enchanting coastal towns of Amalfi and Positano, discover the stunning vistas of Ravello and the sparkling beaches of Capri and explore the haunting ruins of Pompeii.

Soak up the magical atmosphere!

Friends and family members of Institute participants are invited to visit the festival as part of our Guest Program. Guests will enjoy a rich, cultural experience and unique back-stage perspective as they explore the area while sampling the diverse musical offerings, lectures and workshops that take place around the clock.

Activities include workshops in ceramics and painting plus Italian language and Mediterranean cooking lessons. Guests may also sign up for an array of excursions to world-renowned destinations such as Pompeii, Naples, Capri. Guests will also join performing artists to travel to concerts in towns such as Amalfi, Ravello, Maiori, and other scenic locations. Other possible side trips may include a boat trip to Positano, the Greek temples at Paestum, and the 12th century Benedictine abbey of Cava de’ Tirreni.

Guests are invited to daily performances and are welcome to sit in on master classes and other presentations to see teachers and students at work or to observe a rehearsal session.

Guests will enjoy eating and socializing with the musicians and attending pre-concert lectures and post-concert receptions…not to mention indulging in gelato or sipping limoncello with the performers on a terrace late into the night!

Accommodations

Guest Program fees includes access to all festival activities for the full session.

Choral Tour

Guests of the choral tour will enjoy the same special trips and group activities and attend concerts on the other side of the podium. The cost and registration fees are the same for participants and guests. The registration form has a section for guests to apply.

Cost (not including airfare)

Balance due will be made in two payments of $975. Invoices will be sent to trip participants with the deadline for those amounts.

How to Apply

  1. Complete the online application form.

  2. Pay registration fee and deposit either electronically via PayPal* or by mail.

    • If paying by mail, enclose a check made out to Center for Musical Studies and send to:

  3. Applications are accepted until spaces are filled. Your participation in the program may not be considered confirmed until deposits are accepted by Center for Musical Studies and you have received a formal confirmation notification.

  4. Balance of payment is due upon receipt of invoice, approximately 60 days before departure. Pay electronically via PayPal* or by mail using instructions above.

* Please note: A 4% service fee will be added to your total balance to cover the processing charges for online payment (Fee is 4.8% for foreign transactions, i.e. outside of the U.S.)

Cancellation Policy & Refunds

All cancellations must be made in writing by email. Phone calls or phone messages are not accepted.

If the festival is cancelled for any reason by the Amalfi Coast Music & Arts Festival, a full refund will be given, less the registration fee.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for your protection in case of cancellation or trip interruption. Participants in the Choral Tour are required to carry travel insurance. No refunds are available for partial use of program.

The price of the program was established December 30, 2023, and may be subject to change due to significant currency fluctuation or inflation, taxes, surcharges imposed, and fare increases due to international political situations or natural disasters. Registrants will be notified by May 15, 2024 if the price increases and may withdraw without penalty if there is more than a 5% increase.
