Mina Perry, pianist and teacher, was born in Hokkaido, Japan. She earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees with honor from the Musashino School of Music in Tokyo. After three years of teaching piano privately, while holding a position at the Yamaha Music Institute in Yokohama. During these years she played many concerts throughout Japan. She moved to Germany where she earned her Artist Diploma and worked as a correpetitor at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold. She continued advanced study at the Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto, Canada.
She studied piano with Tetsushige Maruyama, Konstantin Ganev, Bob Versteegh, John Perry, as well as piano duo with Djulia and Konstantin Ganev. She also took part in many workshops throughout Europe and Japan. She appears as soloist and chamber musician in recitals in Europe, North America, Korea, and Japan. Since the summer of 2007 she has been teaching and performing at the summer music festival “ Summer Music on the Shannon” in Limerick, Ireland. In the summer of 2008 she taught piano at the summer music festival Music Alp” in Courchevel, France. In the summer of 2009 she taught piano and performed at the International Music Festival in Vianden, Luxembourg.
She maintains a private studio in Pasadena, California.
