Alumni Achievements

Josh Wright recently placed third in the 2014 Washington International Piano Competition, where he also received the audience prize. Earlier this year he won first prize at the 2013 Heida Hermanns International Piano Competition. Congratulations!

Congratulations to new doctor, Lindsey Lambert Wright! She graduated from the University of Utah this year, with whom she will continue working with to implement the ideas outlined in her dissertation, entitled "The genesis, creation, and integration of UPlay Piano, and it's Impact on Student Achievement."

Eva Cao graduated from the University of Michigan and will be starting her masters in piano performance at Southern Methodist University, with Dr. Carol Leone.

Tim Krippner will be heading to Rice University this coming September under the tutelage of Professor Robert Roux.

After a fantastic year as Visiting Assistant Professor of Piano at SUNY Fredonia, Stijn DeCock moves on to join the faculty at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point as a Assistant Lecturer of Piano.

On Oct. 20th, 2013, Jeannette won the President's Award and the "audience favorite" award in her category at the Seattle International Piano Competition.

Oct. 3-9, 2013, Elizabeth sang with the NY Philharmonic as a part of the Manhattan School of Music Symphonic Chorus in their production of Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
