Current Features:

> Piano Program director James Giles gave a compelling recital for Northwestern's Skyline Piano Artist Series, showcasing repertoire from Schubert to Albeniz. He encored the program for Festival participants in July.

 

> Congratulations to pianist Hee Sung Joo, who recently released a new CD on NCM Klassik: Beethoven Piano Sonatas 29 & 17.

 

> Hats off to Chen-Shen Fan who recently won the  CUNY concerto competition. He will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto in B flat major with the Brooklyn Philharmonic in April.

> Inna Faliks just performed the extraordinary, virtuosic “The People United Will Never Be Defeated!” by American piano composer Frederic Rzewski, who dedicated his work to  another Amalfi faculty pianist Ursula Oppens.
